Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23 NKJV)
I read that verse this morning and my mind was blown! Keep your heart with diligence, because the issues of life flow from it. How deep is that?
If we guarded our hearts, making sure only good enters it (or that it experiences good ON PURPOSE) then truly the issues we face in life would be different and so would our method of dealing with life's curve balls.
Let us be more alert, aware of our heart's surroundings.
Lord, help me keep my heart with diligence.
